Back in Baltimore

Back to Baltimore to celebrate New Years. This is the second year in a row so I guess it is a tradition. We stayed off the streets and had a nice relatively quite New Years. No need to start 2012 in the Baltimore drunk tank.

Thai

Laura and I stopped in to Short Pump mall or town center or what ever it is called despite my better judgment and after walking around a bit stopped in Tara Thai for a bite to eat. At least I got a giod meal out of the trip.

Birds Eye View

This almost looks like a model of the city. A couple weeks ago I saw a tutorial on how to make a photo look like a model, I just got luck with this one, except all the dirt on the window that was not a lucky thing.

Should a sunset always be in color?

Usually it is easy to choose between color or black and white when it comes to a sun rise or a sun set picture. However this photo has me uncertain. The delicate clouds and silhouette of the trees make me think a black and white however I like the colors in the sky so as the photographer that captured them I want to show them.

Opposites Attract

It's 40 degrees out and he has on flip-flops and her feet are wrapped up like she going to race in the Iditarod.
I know all too much about this, my wife would need a snuggy on the surface of the sun.

The Illumination

Laura and I went downtown for the Grand Illumination. After all the lights where all let and we had enough of the crowds we wondered off to explore the night.
We ended up at the governors mansion. As we walked up we noticed the brick sidewalks were covered in dirt. Then we noticed the lawn was covered in tents and prop trees. We had walked on to a set for Lincoln.
