It was an overcast day so the light wasn't very good but I did find this cat sleeping in the window.

Passing Storm

Met up with my friend Hal (check him out @ weaverwerx, The Reluctant Sadist)
for a pint and a bite to eat after work. We were supposed to go for a hike but the radar didn't look good so we didn't want to chance it. When I got out of work the sky was blue and their were a few white clouds in the sky. I was worried we might have missed a great day to get out and hike. It didn't take long for the sky to turn grey. The thunder started off in the distance and crept closer. The bottom finally dropped out of the sky and Hal and I sipped a little slower on our beers waiting for the rain to let up so we could make a break for home. When it finally did this is what the sky looked like out side of the Olde Towne Tavern in Phoebus.

I went to see the Carolina Chocolate Drops on Brown's Island for Friday Cheers. While they were setting up I snapped off a few pictures on the James River.

On the patio

Spent the late afternoon/evening with my parents. It is always nice to sit out on their patio and catch up.
