I find it fun and refreshing to go back and look at pictures I have forgotten about and start over. I took this photo in 2007 and never processed it. I did process some form this day but this one was deemed unworthy and left behind to be discovered another day.

Fresh Air

...is good for the soul.
We have been "sleep training" our son and one of the things this involves is getting him up at 7am and going for a walk. He has really been enjoying this new morning ritual and so have I. Getting out in the crisp air and see the morning light has been a nice change from hiding from old man winter colluded up in doors.

Still haven't fou nd what I am looking for

After posting this image in color yesterday I made it my desktop image so I could look at it and decide if I really liked how it turned out. As you can see for the above image I wasn't convinced that it was right. I didn't like the colors as much as I was hoping. I decided that I wanted concentrate on the lines and textures of the image. Black and white seemed like the best way to do that.
This image is now my desktop image so I will see if it stands up to me staring at it everyday.

A Garden in Pastel

 These are photos I took on a trip to Florence, Italy. This garden is part of the larger Boboli Gardens behind the Amici di Palazzo Pitti. This particular part is all the way up a hill looking back over the countryside.

 It is was a beautiful day and the light was great but I never liked how they came out. I think I am happy with the way these have turned out.

I think Amtrak knows my schedule. Every time I'm late to class a train happens to be going by.
I did make it to class on time this time.
